Glee Cast

Glee Cast is an American musical serial that was broadcasted on the TV channel Fox. It tells about a chorus that acts in the high school in the city of Lima, state Ohio.

The first scenes of that show were shown in May 19, 2009 and the first season was started in September 9, 2009.

The show was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Jan Brannan .There are 18 main characters who sing the songs:Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Chord Overstreet, Jayma Mays, Jane Lynch, Harry Shum, Jr., Darren Criss, Dot Jones and Ashley Fink.

One of the main characters Will Shuster the teacher of the Spanish language organized a chorus that works on musicals. Initially the group attracts students that are insulted by the classmates. Shuster promotes the chorus and soon other actorsthat do not have any problems with the classmates joined it. Over the time they become a team; the choristers get more self- confident and can stay against the stereotype school system that splits the students for “popular’ and “losers”

There are a lot of cover tracks of famous songs in the serial. The musical parts are mainly presented as shows unlike the actors who can sing spontaneously.

Murphy is responsible for songs selection and tends to support the balance between the new hits and old compositions. I want to have in each episode both old and new songs. It is a complicated fusion, but it is very important – the balance is here.” The songs are inseparable part of the plot. Ryan Murphy explained: “Each topic of the episode makes its basis. After the scenario is done I select the songs that help to develop the story”.

Glee choreographer is Zach Woodley. As soon as the music rights were received the songs are performed by the actors Woodley creates matching dance actions that the actors master and the serial is shot. The performances can be prepared several weeks, depending on their complexity. Each episode costs not less than 3$ billion for production and can be shot during 10 days due to complicated choreography.
