An American pop punk band Paramore was founded in Franklin, Tennessee, 2004. Originally the lineup of the band consisted of the Farro brothers Zac (drums) and Josh (backing vocals, guitar), Hayley Williams (keyboards, lead vocals) and Jeremy Davis (bass guitar). Later Hayley’s neighbor, Jason Bynum (rhythm guitar) joined the band. The first song “Conspiracy” was a part of a debut album. The band returned to Orlando to create their debut album “All We Know Is Falling”. It took them 3 weeks to record it.
The album “We Know Is Falling” saw the light on July 24, 2005 and rose to # 30 in Billboard chart. The video for the first single “Pressure” was produced by Shane Drake, but it didn’t go over. The second single “Emergency” was released in June. But that time Jason Bynum was replaced by Hunter Lamb. The video of the song showed the band in quite new light. The third single “All We Know” consisted of backstage takings and live performances. The January 2006 symbolized the participation of the band in Winter Go West Tour, where the guys performed with such bands as “The Lashes” and “Amber Pacific”. Paramore were on tour across England since 5 to 15 October, 2006. Then the band recorded a cover version of Foo Fighters’ song “My Hero” that became a soundtrack for the film “Superman”, released in June 26. Debut solo tour across the USA set off on August 2, 2006. During the final performance in their native Nashville the guys performed with “Cute Is What We Aim For”, “This Providence” and “Hit the Lights”. They were accepted as “the best new band” and Williams was the second in the chart of “the sexiest girls” due to the vote of magazine’s “Kerrang” readers. For creating the second album “Riot” the band settled down in January, 2007. In March they were to work without Hunter Lamb, a guitarist who quitted the band for marriage. So Josh Farro had to record parts right on two guitars. Taylor York then replaced Lamb. Before working with Howard Benson and Neal Avron, Paramore started recording “Riot” with a New York producer David Bagdet. The album was released on June 12, 2007. It entered #20 in Billboard chart, #24 in Great Britain chart. Thanks to the song “Decode” recorded for the film “Twilight” the band gained more popularity. The release of the album “Brand New Eyes” was on September 20, 2009 and topped many hit parades of the planet.
